    Has any haitians on this board applied for TPS? Do you mind sharing your experience? How was the process? How long did it take for you to receive your documentations? How's life for you now?

            Thank you, but, I am more interested in finding out about the experience of people who have already applied.

            As for Federale86, it's not too late. The dealine is july 20.

                  by the way, it's been like 3 months since that earthquake and they are still running around like chickens without a head. The assistance they have begged from the rest of the world is going to waste because the Haitians have no clue as to how distribute it. Guess that voodoo thing doesn't work ehh???

                          Is it possible that TPS for haiti will be renewed? In a recent article INS claims only 48,000 have applied for TPS. I guess some people are afraid this program isn't safe, because of possible deportations proceedings. I can understand those concerns but look at all the people with expired visa's who can easily be sought out but arent. TPS gives all illegals an opportunity to find a way to legalize themselves while "temporarily" protected! Unless they entered illegally.

                          What are your thoughts on tps?
