Has anyone tried to get their ssn? Wife received her EAD and on the same day we went to SS to apply for card. Its been 12 weeks and we have received nothing. SS told us that her application was just received in on 04/29/03, when we filed it on 02/20/03. Anyone else have problems with ssc?

When someone applies for SSN, the department issues a letter immediately. If there is some descrepency then you can send them a copy of that letter. Any way, you should go back to same office and enquire personally about this.
