  • Conditional and permanent green card...

    Me and my husband(was on h-1) got married on jan 2002, he got his Condiional geen card on May 2nd, Now when he will be eligible for PR, starting the day we got married ot starting the date he got his conditional card:I will summirze the date so that its easy for you guys to read

    Date of Marriage : Jan 2002
    Got Conditional GC : May 2003
    Date of Permanent GC : ????????

      His date for Conditional GC is the date when his passport was stamped for permanent residency. Original GC always comes afterwards. He will be eligible to apply for removal of conditions (I-751) 90 days prior to second anniversary of passport stamp.

        The day his Conditional GC was approved -- the date on his passport by the INS.
