        Ba/B2 Visas are Business/Pleasure (Tourist) Visas, which are issued for a specific purpose. In case, you are interested in starting a business then you must apply for change of status to a appropriate category.

          Yes, you can own your business, it has nothing to visa categories. You can be any or all officers of your company, and/or member of the board of directors, but if you have B1/b2 visa you're not allowed to be employed by the US company. It means you can make business decisions, make appointments, sign contracts, open bank accounts, employ US cityzens or permanent residents, but you cannot receive any compensation for that (legally).
