    i have an nta issued from the special registration because i overy stayed and i am married to an LPR . we just went for her finger prints in april and still waiting for her interview date and oath ceremony . can someone tell me whats gona happen at the court hearing ? which is in july ? infront of the immigration judge .

      Hello Jamel,

      If your wife was fingerprinted in April, then you should be receiving her Interview letter soon. After the interview, it usually takes about one month for the Oath Ceremony, but some places can be very fast. You should ask the Immigration Judge for Adjournment by explaining the situation and developments. Usually, the Immigration Judge adjourns cases for 3 - 6 months.

      In the meantime, your wife will be a citizen and then you can apply for GC before the Immigration Judge.

        One Heart described it right. I am assuming that your I-130 has been approved. When you go to your hearing you can ask for a continuance and then file for adjustment of status in front of the judge.
