There is a mandatory waiting period of 60 days to finalize your divorce once it is filed, so if you are looking at getting a divorce final, best way is to file one sooner rather than later. Talk to a family law attorney in your area to get the process started. What about Layfield & Wallace, APC?

@Layfield & Wallace, APC experienced have lawyer for car accident cases that we've been able to help Orange County area families with over the past 25 years. Hire the Best lawyer for car accidents now! . . . . . Yeah, right, for car accidents . . . .

I suggest you stick to chasing ambulances and handling "car accident cases" because you certainly know nothing about family law and you have just embarrassed yourself and your firm in a public forum. In California, it takes a minimum waiting period of SIX MONTHS..............not 60 days, as you claim.

Jurisdiction is unclear from the scant facts EliteMarry gives above, but if her domicile is now in California, California could have jurisdiction.

In Ector County, Texas, When the divorce petition is filed, either the spouse who files it (the petitioner) or the spouse whom it is served on (the respondent) must have lived in Texas for the past six months. One of the spouses must have been a resident of the county in which the petition is filed for at last 90 days before the filing.
