  • Hiv+ and after 5 months from INs interview havn't heard nothing!

Me and my wife had my ins first interview on February 12th

I'm hiv+ and I had everything required: private insurance, affidavit of support, esclusion waiver, an extensive letter from a pshychiatric saying it will cause extreme hardship on my wife and her daughter if they deport me, a letter form the doctor that says I'm in very good health and I pose no threat to society. The officer said they will let me know...but after 5 months I haven't heard a thing, They didn't even give me a work, I 've applied for AOS 18 months ago!

How long is it gonna take?
    any other experiences like mine?

    Thanks

Have you tried calling to find out the status of your case?

Yes I've tried the toll free number on the INS site... is bull...they said
they don't know and they cannot open my file...

I think they have to send my waiver to the CDC in Georgia, but how long will it take?

        Geez...

        Thanks

I don't know the answers to your questions.

Maybe a lawyer with some experience may know or at least can tell you what to expect.

          Best of luck to you.

If you have all the documents required, don't worry, they call you. Good Luck!
