  • Visa overstayer legal situation

Hi. I would like to know what do visa overstayers do about work permit, tax paying and other issues... I've read here and on other forums there are people overstaying for years, they work, pay taxes, have bank accounts, even get married... how is this possible? I'm asking specifically about B2 visa (tourist).

Any information about this topic helps me. Thanks in advance.

Staying beyond the period of time authorized by the Department of Homeland Security and out-of-status in the U.S. is a violation of U.S. immigration laws, and may cause you to be ineligible for a visa in the future for return travel to the U.S.
If you overstay the end date of your authorized stay, as provided by the CBP officer at a port-of-entry, your visa will generally be automatically be voided or cancelled. see http://www.greencardapply.com/questi...ion11_1106.htm

visa overstayers are irresponsible slime, and each and every one of these lowlifes should be given the boot out of this country...most continue their law breaking ways by stealing and using SS#s of another person, or putting down false information on I9 forms and other applications...visa cheats are amongst the worst parasites this country has ....(aside from immigration attorneys!)...these cheats have no respect for our laws, and should never be rewarded in any way, shape or form....they make it more difficult for others from their flea infested countries to obtain visas...deport them all...tomorrow.
