  • Filing for Younger Sister (September 2009)

trying to sponsor my younger sister - so I filed I-130 back in September 2009.

Received notification that I-130 form (I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.) was approved on 3/25/2010. So, does the below mean that the form is now "in procress" and is with "National Visa Center" (NVC)?

I am not sure what to do or what to check on? I have tried calling several times and seems like I need to wait for some kind of Visa # (??) -- or the people I speak to have no clue what I am talking about.

Does anyone have any idea on this? would love to hear from you.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State.

doesn't matter because she will not be eligible for this visa for several more years.
