  • Received "Notice of intent to cancel Certificate of Citizenship"

I recently received the letter entitled as stated if the title.

My question is, one it is canceled, should I also expect a "removal" process to follow shortly thereafter?

If I leave willingly, would I be able to visit? Re-enter based on marriage?
Will I get caught up in the 10 exclusion?

    Thanks

    Hi Agehring:

As far I know yes you are going to be followed up for removal process. They might make your case lighter if you voluntarily leave, but I'm not sure on this.
Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there.

If a person is having their citizenship revoked you can pretty much assume there will be a permanent bar to reentry. These actions are most often precipitated by a discovery that would have made the person inadmissible from the onset thereby nullifying the chain of events that led to granting citizenship.
This message brought to you by the vast right wing conspiracy.

They will most likey not place you in removal proceedings as USCIS is no longer for the most part serving Notices To Appear. But the next time you try and travel you may be arrested by CBP.
