  • I-751 Rare Case? Approved,then later denied.Please help

My dad was approved of I-751 based on extreme hardship, letter is dated sept. 8,2012. The letter said it would take 90-120 days to receive his Green Card in the mail and was scheduled for a Master Court date on January 2013. My dad's lawyer did not want to close the case till he got his greencard in the mail.

Today (NOV. 28)we got a letter with a stamp that says DENIED for I-751 dated the same day(sept.8) as of the letter where the petition was approved and also had a new Court date of February 2013. It does not show any explanation or why it was denied.

Now we are very worried and confused, is this a mistake by them. Or was it denied? Please help.
