    Is there any law being passed for international students on f-1 visa to get a green card? and what is the best way for a student on f-1 visa to become a legal resident in USA? any information will be appreciated.

    Currently, there are three ways for an F1 visa holder to obtain a green card:
    1. Green Card lotery if you are not a citizen from one of the exempted countries,
    2. Work visa, usually an H or O visa which will lead to an employment based green card, or
    3. Marriage to USC if you and your spouse meet all the requirements.
