    Who and why.

It is of utmost importance to clearly understand who did it, why they did it, and that it hasn't changed.

It must be said who they were. They were immigrants. They were Muslims.

They received assistance in their plot from Hispanic immigrants already in the U.S. (Obtaining Virginia driver licenses.)

They received assistance in the United States at mosques in San Diego and Virginia.

They hated America. They ridiculed Americans. They are no different from Brit, Olde, RN, Abercrumbie, Koller, Sprint, etc. who love to criticize, ridicule and hate America and Americans.

You all are part of the problem, not the solution.

We'll never forget but fighting to infinity isn't the answer either. Today is a time for reflection and tolerance.

“I have assured His Majesty that our war is against evil, not against Islam. There are thousands of Muslims who proudly call themselves Americans, and they know what I know — that the Muslim faith is based upon peace and love and compassion. The exact opposite of the teachings of the al Qaeda organization, which is based upon evil and hate and destruction.” — Remarks by President George W. Bush and His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan The Oval Office, Washington, D.C. September 28, 2001

"When we start acting as if their religion is somehow offensive, what are we saying to them? I've got Muslims who are fighting in Afghanistan in the uniform of the United States armed services. They're out there putting their lives on the line for us. And we've got to make sure that we are crystal clear -- for our sakes and their sakes -- they are Americans. And we honor their service. And part of honoring their service is making sure that they understand that we don't differentiate between 'them' and 'us.' It's just us." - President Obama, The East Room, Washington DC, September 10th 2010.

How dare you equate me and others with the 911 terrorists/extremists. I've got a good mind to take you to court over those comments fedNUT. I have never supported the 911 terrorists either verbally or written. Show me where I have. If you can't then shut the f-up. Criticizing is very different than flying 4 airplanes with the intent to kill thousands of innocent lives. You clearly don't know the difference between them.

Please don't use 9/11 as a forum to argue your petty differences. This subject is one I believe we can all agree on. Don't point fingers and accuse others or inject your theories of what happened on that day unless you have facts in evidence to back you up. People died and their loved ones don't need anyone telling them anything. They are survivors and their pain is real. Don't trivialize it in any way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just this once because it's important. I said "we'll never forget" meaning just that. But at the same time fighting into infinity isn't the answer either. That is NOT me supporting their cause. It's the way it'll end it. Fighting will just continue the hate on both sides. Can't you see that davdah or like fedNUT are you so consumed with hate for them? And you call yourself Christian!

Tolerate our common hatred over what happened because that event was unfortunate but that's something that we can no longer change. But what we changed was what happened next. We pursue the perpetrators and at the same time help to broker peace in the Middle East which is the hotbed of dissent.

Hatred consumes more the hater than the hated. Looking from outside in, it's hard to tell the difference between you and the perpetrators.

You haven't seen the quotes. Those are borrowed lines from St. Paul in his letter to the Romans, which is the reading for today in Our Daily Bread.

Hatred means hatred however you cloak it with patriotism or whatnot. The haters like you was the main reason why there has been a growth of radicalism in the Muslim heartland in the first place - you haters' interventionist policies in the Middle East and your unquenchable thirst for oil.

You are the best example of weakness and ignorance I've seen in a long time. More often than not you chime in with stupid comments absent a clue of what your talking about. Then, when it comes to defending this country you can be counted on to proclaim how we should lay down our arms. Surrender?, Never! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Have I ever said we should stop fighting in Afghanistan? Has Obama given up and "surrendered" as you put it? NO. What I'm saying is we can't fight forever as you seem to want. Eventually all wars come to an end. Over time, to obtain a lasting peace, tolerance is needed. Your version of peace is to fight until the war is won by an American victory. How do you define winning? What will it look like? Once all Muslim extremists have been eradicated from the earth?

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> To this day hate of U.S. citizens and this country is taught in their gathering places here and abroad. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Don't you think the US could also be partly to blame? Starting wars around the world for no good reason (Iraq)? If that nutter Pastor had carried out his Qua-ran burning, how would that look in the eyes of the world? Do you see Britons openly talking of burning Qua-ran's?

Extremism in all it's forms is the problem here and your talk of fighting into infinity solves nothing in the end. It might make you feel good about "doing something" but untimately it will be counter-productive.

The time for "with us or against us" is history. Now is the time for tolerance.

Thanks Brit for proving me correct. You want to tolerate Muslim immigrant terrorism. You exposed yourself for what you are, a Islamist sympathizer at best, more likely an active supporter of jihad.
