  • AZ Governor Jan Brewer Asks U.S. Supreme Court to Overturn Hold on SB1070

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer fulfilled her promise to fight for the enactment of SB 1070, the state’s strict immigration bill, in its totality all the way to the Supreme Court. Late today she filed an appeal with the Supreme Court to overturn a lower state court ruling that put on hold on certain portions of the bill.

Dream on Brewer. Your SB 1070 is DOA.

If SCOTUS rules on it this will be very important decision.

SCOTUS will determine the direction the country will take for the coming years on this issue.

You never know, it could be 6 to 3 against or 5 to 4 in favor , depending on how the individual Justices interpret the law , its' Constitutionality, conflict with DOJ and political necessity.

Whatever the decision it will be a good read for any immigration law scholar and it will have very broad and lasting impact.

You can only wait and see how SCOTUS decides it.

Same crazy Brit said that Arizona E-verify would be overturned. Same with Hazelton law. Brit is 0-2. Looser!

Actually, Brit, SB 1070 is the law in Arizona, except for a couple of provisions that the Judge said needed additional judicial revue.

                I guess that's 0-3...and counting!

Perhaps Brit should be more concerned with the images of his riot-stricken and burning homeland than pandering to illegals in America.
