  • Illegitimate Us Citizen

I was born on April 7, 1971 (Philippines) to a US Navy father who left me when I was still a baby and never legitimized nor acknowledged me. There was no communication ever since he left. Only last year I found him and learned that he died already but his relatives are willing to take a DNA test to prove my relationship with my father.

I would like to know if I have a chance to become a US citizen if I can prove that I am his child?

    Thank you very much!
