  • Status Update on my I-751

I sent it to the Nebraska Center on January 13th, 2004.
They received my package on January 17th.
I received the NOA on January 22nd.
My alient card was extended for 1 year - employment & travel authorized. My alient card which was for 2 years expired last April.
The NOA says that processing my form will require a minumum of 6 months. If I have not heard from them within 8 months, I have then to contact that office.

straight up. yes this is what happens to all except a few lucky ones here and there. if you are worried about working all you have to do is present the NOA for them and your expired GP and if you are worried about travel out of the country take the NOA with you along with your old GC and you are fine. But as for now its wait wait and wait. You can try and call the 800 number in July?... there have been people in this chat room waiting for it for 2 years! so you are not the only one... keep your fingers crossed.

Thank You Wish for your message.

I did not know that it is taking so long to get approve. Hopefully my case does not take more than a year.
