My pending I-130 application was transferred from Texas to Nebraska, in order to speed processing times. Does anyone know if my case will still be put in order by my original receipt date? If not, this is not going to speed my processing time at all.

I am in the same boat for my father's I-130. Nebraska folks told me that it will based on their receipt date i.e. new receipt date and that means even longer wait time. I can feel your pain.

Does anyone have suggestion on how to speed up similar situations?

i do not think so. Our petiton for spouse was transferred to nebarskas on April 07, 2004. When ic alled the INS number they told us that they will follow the original receipt date not the new one. I do not know if the i130 for the father has the same preference as that for a spouse. I was being told to follow the nebraska date basedf on my opriginal receipt date. Most of the spouse i130 petitins that were filed back in 2002 were transferred from Texas to Nebraska and were approved nearly a month later. Who knows ?

          Thanks for the information.

Can someone give the phone contact number to Nebraska Service Center for I130 transfer case discussion?

I checked with USCIS customer service and they do not have a clue.

Unfortunately, you no longer can contact the service centers directly. That is why the 1-800 number was put on place. However, you may write them a letter asking for a follow up. Good luck!
