  • Processing dates?????? HElp.......

The processing dates for California Service Center posted on Dec. 18, 06 says that the applications are being processed are the one's of June 15, 06.

My question is what does this mean?

    1. Those applications are going to get an interview or a visa?

    2. They are for the first time reviewing the I-130 application sent to be approved?

    3. They are working on those cases and the one's before that time have already been processed meaning they have/don't have a visa?

Or What does this mean I'm confused?

      Option #3 is correct.

Yes, option #3, but not always true. If you tinker with the receipt # (changing the last digits up and down), you'll see that some of the I130's have been processed a while ago.

The timing they have to stick to is about 6 months right now, but they don't really follow it.
When was the last time your petition was looked at? (Under case portfolio)

          Thanks for responding!

Although I'm not sure what you mean about the reciept number (changing the last digits up and down).

Can you put in that in other words.

My petition has not been approved yet so I'm still waiting.

            Hello mary

Just so you know, I sent mu application for a fiancee visa on the last of June, 2006 and they processed it July 28th. Theyhad a time frame that they were processing the forms in March, so it isnt exactly accurate. They then processed the form on the 20th of sept., only two months. The NVC then took one month to process and forward to the foreign embassy which took another month. Hope that helps.

Mary, in the area which asks you to input your case #, the last 2 digits can be changed up and down. Bu doing so you can see which peitions were filed the same day and when they were processed. Once you ***ped into the similar to yours petition, you can see if they were adjudicated or not.

But it doesn't help to know anyway.. you just get more questions...:-))
