The biggest misconception about immigration is that it is a zero-sum game--that there is a finite number of jobs which immigrants "take" from the native-born and that immigrants consume social services without paying anything in. Several state governments--including Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina, and others--have bought into this myth, enacting measures to address what they perceive as problems arising from undocumented immigration. Yet anti-immigration laws hurt not only immigrants, but native-born Americans as well. Read more here

Onyango Obama is a free man.

Arrested in August in Massachusetts for allegedly driving under the influence, Obama, an uncle of the president, had been held in jail for more than two weeks on separate immigration charges that he allegedly violated an order to return to his native Kenya in 1992. Read more here

the most common misconception most fools have is that somehow illegal immigration is GOOD for our country, that 14M pieces of slime are not really scamming medical and educational benefits, that millions of illegals are not really causing automobile wrecks, that 14M lowlifes are not depressing wages in many blue collar industries, that all of the them somehow pay taxes and are not a economic drain on our society and that their disease ridden brats are not really filling up our schools...no...of course...all of this is just a mirage....but I'll tell you what, BW....if you (obviously) love 'em so much, why haven't YOU taken a dozen or so illegals into YOUR home, let them drive YOUR car, let them steal YOUR job, let them charge their medical bills to YOU....well???

In fact immigrants, both legal and illegal are expensive burdens on the taxpayers. That is why.

Facts, its tough, but the truth sometimes hurts. Immigration hurts America.

Oh yes, the CIS, one of the groups set up by John Tanton who has links to white supremcist hate groups. Nice try fedNUT.

"FAIR, CIS and NumbersUSA are all part of a network of restrictionist organizations conceived and created by John Tanton, the “puppeteer” of the nativist movement and a man with deep racist roots. As the first article in this report shows, Tanton has for decades been at the heart of the white nationalist scene. He has met with leading white supremacists, promoted anti-Semitic ideas, and associated closely with the leaders of a eugenicist foundation once described by a leading newspaper as a “neo-Nazi organization.” He has made a series of racist statements about Latinos and worried that they were outbreeding whites. At one point, he wrote candidly that to maintain American culture, “a European-American majority” is required"
