  • I-130 Petition

In filling Form I-130 petition, to answer question Q4. Do we write the last entry/arrival?

Q4. If your relative is currently in the U.S., complete the following:
He or she arrived as a:
(visitor, student, stowaway, without inspection, etc.)

    Arrival/departure record (I-94) Date arrived

Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as shown on form I-94 or I-95.

If I paroled until DEC 22 2006 ...do you know what my status after that date will be?

Q22, Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status at the USCIS office in: City________State_______

If your relative in not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for visa aboard at the American Consular post in: City ____Country_____

From this question it looks like some people will be able to apply inside the U.S and other people will be able to apply with the American embassy in their county?
Any feedback from people who went through this process.
    Thanks

I cant answer your first question because I completed my I130 in 2003 and I had entered as a visitor from Canada.

For your second question however you can apply both outside the country and inside the country. If you are in the US then you would put the city and state that you reside in.
