    hello there...

i'm little bit confuse what date i'm qualified to apply for citizenship

I'm applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to a US citizen:

i got my residence permanent on March 21 2005

and also i'm aware that i can apply in 2 years 8 months

so my question is i'm qualified to apply in NOV 20 2007 ?, if i calculate NOV 21 2007 which comes to

2 years, 8 months, 1 day including the end date

    is that correct?

    thanks.

You're OK, you just undershot the timeline by a month. You can do it after two years and nine months of being a permanent resident based on marriage to a USC. Just stay well and good morally and polish up on your English and Civics. Welcome to America.

        No.

It is 2 years and 9 months to be exact from the date on conditional greencard that you can apply. if it is sent prior to that, it most likely will be returned to you as too soon to submit. they are very fussy about this.
