I think it's absolutely positively wonderful that America is becoming more colorful, just like our flag....
white is only 1/3 of it's colors.

Unity in diversity is one of the top most priority of every democratic society. It's great that america is preserving peace with such a dynamic diversity, also it is procreatively very much better for an individual to evolve through such a diverse cultre. This helps him/her to be a better citizen and ingrains empathy. Which is very good for the whole nation.

In 2005, more people from Muslim countries became legal permanent U.S. residents "” nearly 96,000 "” than in any year in the previous two decades. In 2006, a record 1.27 million immigrants were granted legal residence.

Perhaps as many as half a million Iraqi Christians are thought to have fled the sectarian fighting in Iraq, with Christians bearing the brunt of animosity toward a perceived "crusade" by the United States in Iraq. Between October 2003 and March 2005 alone, 36% of 700,000 Iraqis who fled to Syria were Assyrians and other Christians, judging from a sample of those registering for asylum on political or religious grounds. Iraqi Christians formed the largest groups of new refugees arriving in Jordan's capital Amman in the first quarter of 2006, according to an unpublished report by the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

In 20 years, there will be no more Christians in Iraq

The U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees says about 2 million Iraqis have been displaced inside the country so far, and an estimated 2.2 million others have fled to Syria, Jordan and other neighbors, where they threaten to overwhelm schools and housing, destabilize host governments and provide a recruiting ground for radical unrest. Each month, another 60,000 Iraqis flee their homes, according to the U.N. group. Roughly 40% of Iraq's middle class is believed to have fled, the U.N. said. Most are fleeing systematic persecution and have no desire to return.

Overall estimates of the number of Iraqis who could be targeted as collaborators because of their work for U.S., coalition or foreign reconstruction groups are as high as 110,000.

Since 2003, the year of the U.S. invasion, the United States has admitted just 825 Iraqi refugees, many of them backlogged applicants from the time Saddam Hussein was in power. The United States has admitted only 133 Iraqi refugees since October 2006, despite predicting it would process 7,000 by the end of September.

Per capita peace and order, socio-economic and political stability, and overall world supremacy; the US compared to, say, China and India with more homogeneous population makeup, whereas, the US with such a diverse population composition: off-hand, which of these three is on top? Unless of course one would focus her/his views on the trees; not on the forest.
