  • Immediate help again for Parents Approved Petition (F4-India)

    Hello friends again,
I need help again. My meternal Uncle filed for my Mom and Dad in F4 Category in 1991. The petition was approved in 2002 and the DS-230 forms were sent to my Mom and Dad. The day they received the forms after paying the processing fees, the Petitioner died. Now INS informed me that the case is no longer valid. Accoriding to New law signed in 20002, if the petition is approved before the petitioner died, either surviving spouse of petitioner or close relative like real brother, sister, son, daughter can provide affidavit of support and the petition is still good. When I called INS, they told me to call NVC. When I called NVC, they told me to call INS. The case in Limbo. I do not know what to do ? Is there anyone who can help me. I have applied for citizenship already a week ago. But after I become citizen I will have to pay the fees again. Why not find a way to re-open the closed case which was approved already. What is the procedure and where can I find the help. Parents are in India. INS says, they have sent the file back to district office where the petition was filed which is in California and I am in Illinois. They don't even have telephone number where I can talk. PLE...........ASE help me.

    Thanks guys once again,
