  • Some one help me lift my life long CURSE!

I came to the United States Back in 1988. At the time I was 6 years old. When crossing the border the Border Patrol apparently ruffed up some of the people when they were transporting us to the detention centers. My mom was able to get in contact with my Aunt who was already legally living in the U.S. and called Some start up lawyer for my mom. The lawyer told my mom that she had a good case and that she should sue the I.N.S. border patrol for their actions against us. My mom of course not knowing how in the world things ran in the U.S. decided to go ahead with it. So she sued and we lost (what can we expect she is an immigrant going against the U.S. government). They told her to leave the country. After all that walking she was not about to make an about face and head back to crime and poverty. So ever since then she has not been able to fix her papers. The problem is that they are holding me accountable for it too. I was only 6 years old and I was not going to leave the country without my mom. They are punishing me as if I deliberately broke the law. I have 2 older brothers (who at the time were both under the age of 10), one was with me and the other was transported by a would be "American family" and "their" child (his name is Gustavo). My brother who came in by car does not have our problem. My brother that was with me (His name is Fernando) has the same problem, he got married to a U.S. Citizen but has been denied even a workers permit! Obviously we are been punished by the law for not going back to our country, and not because we are under my moms custody. If that were the case my brother Gustavo who came in by car would have our problem too but he does not. What can I possibly do in my situation. I am here in Loyola Marymount University (with my Girlfriend who attends this University) almost to the brink of tears out of frustration because I want to live a normal life, to fufill the American dream in my life. I am sick of this. I dont want to go back to my god forsaken third world country for 10 YEARS were I definitely have no hope of becoming prosperous, just so I can wait for the letter to arrive were they tell me my process can begin. I would be much better off here without papers than over there with a Ph.D! I think the ***s here are better off than the middle class back in my country (which are all really poor). Sorry for sounding so pathetic but I seriously need help. All I want to do with my life is help people but I cannot even do that because I dont have papers! I can't even help my self, isn't that funny! Anyway if anyone out there can refer me to anyone I can brib.... err... I mean talk to in order help me please let me know! Thank you.

is it too hard for you guys to understand that the border patrol isn't always the nicest and kindest? I could tell you some things....
I am a US citizen (BY BIRTH) and they have detained me!!! if it can happen to me it can happen to you!! I'm white by the way (if that matters to you) You can't find my detainment on record though... (by the way the reason they gave was because I don't drive they figured it was because of a DUI) I also didn't have a copy of my birth certificate on me.

auto, sounds like you probably should do it the leagal way .... contact an attorney if you must but the right way is always the best, dont lie to Uncle Sam, he'll find out and then you'll be in bigger trouble than you wanted. also, you mentioned someone saying dumb things, it was pretty dumb of you to BRIBE someone :P

hey "someone12".....this person is completely different from me....so if you're refering to me as the "full of baloney story"....you are dead wrong. Further more.....whats up with all the immigrant bashing...lemmie guess...your illegal immigrant mail order bride dumped you? I mean if thats the case i completely get why you are so negative. --Automedon--no disrepect...this "someone12" posted some lame sh*t under my topic too...so I had to say something.

yea well someone21 im married to a white american republican.....what do u have to say about that....and it is a different case...further more...i have more education and sense in my one little finger than u have in your whole brain. Why don't you get a life? If you have nothing positive to contribute....get the hell out of the chat. YOu obviously have no life. Believe it or not...there are some injustices against immigrants...not all...but there are some. So unless you know the entire story...you just need to back off...leave me alone and leave this person alone...neither or us want your stupid comments

don't listen to hate mongers...... I will let you know idf there is any solution in your case but I need more deep information regarding how old you was , what was filed and how long it was , when you were married , did you ever tried to file I130 etc..
Let me tell you upfront that the way to get legal will be tough but not imposible in your case.. you need attorney who can fight and know the OlD law governing your case i.e before act of 1996. he also should have thorough knowledge how to file suspension of deportation( not removal) etc, in the worse case scanerio he should know how to file waivers to bring you back and you should be prepare to for a trip and some vacation in your country.. too.
Its a discussion, not a legal advise..

First I want to start off by saying that although someone12 is a bit hateful towards immigrants I must admit that he's a funny hateful man. I did not bribe ANYBODY nor do I plan to. If you go back and read again you will notice that I did not completely say that I will bribe anybody. I said it with the hopes that anyone reading it would catch that it's a joke since I felt I was whining too much. I do not attend a university. I was there waiting for my girlfriend that does, and while I waited I felt the way I felt as stated in my first posting. I went to LMU computer lab and found this place to see if anyone out there knows of any changes to the laws. I have been here for the past 18 years so I was hoping that I can be cut some slack. I was forced to come and to stay here. By the time I was 18 I was more of the American mind set than of the Peruvian mindset. TO be honest with all of you I dont agree with the ways of my culture. I would much rather have been born here and be in a University and do something with my life. Anyway, mohan I have already know all that stuff, the problem is that back in 1996 when my mom filed we were denied for the same reason of our record. If I go back (according to 7 lawyers) I will be staying in Peru anywhere from 7-10 years. In that time I can start a successful business under my girlfriends name. I might as well stay here. My country is full of drugs, crimes, and poverty. NOt very lucrative. So, once again, does anyone know anything regarding my difficult situation? If not its okay God will find a way for me. There must be a reason god has set my (many) limits.

I always knew Someone 12 suffers from some sort of inferiority problem but I didn't realize it was that severe.

                              Hey Mohan

Sorry I forgot to thank you for your advice. I re-read my second posting and realized I came out kind of rude (I think the people in this site are influencing me j/k). Thank you buddy. You are the only decent person that tried to help me. God bless you, and sorry if I offended you. Take care.
