  • CIA claims NO backlog on Name Check Issue!

A friend of mine who has been waiting for his AOS to be approved pending security checks in Newark called the FBI contact information Office and the CIA Public Affairs Office. BOTH agency's assured him that USCIS was already notified about his case, and the CIA Officer even went further saying that "USCIS in NY and NJ always lie to applicants about the backlog, because att his time CIA has no backlog whatsoever regarding immigration files"

The advise was to go back to the District Office and tell them to resubmit the name check form to the CIA. Knowing how nasty some Immigration Officer can be, this is just not going to happend.
