  • To Marie...

    Hi Marie,

from what I have read from your posts, I understand that were married under the VWP while you were here.
I also assume that you got married in Las Vegas, or am I wrong here? Otherwise it would be hard to prove that you didn't have the intention to get married when you got here, assuming that in other states the paperwork takes longer.

If you got married in Vegas, dare I ask you how much it did cost?

Yeah I got married while on a VWP and I got married in Tulsa, Oklahoma That's where we are living.

You have to prove that you didn't know you were going to get married when you entered. They didn't really question us about it to be honest. I mean I could have shown them my closet with only 1 pair of jeans and 4 t shirts! HAHA
I came here to see my then boyfriend and I never left. Didn't plan it that way!

Paperwork to get married doesn't take long in OK, I bet it's the same everywhere, get a blood test, get your license, get married, and then mail it off.

My father in law married us so it didn't cost a thing where the pastor is concerned ; )
