  • Revoking I-130 and I-485

    Dear members,
My wife who I plan to divorce has an I-130 which I filed, and an adjustment of status (I-485) pending for about 18 months.
As I plan to divorce I'm considering revoking both the I-130 and the I-485 petitions.
Let me know how it can be done and its immediate effect.

Why don't you divorce her and give her a chance for life! You don't have to be enemies for life.

Good luck, where are you from?

You can't withdraw the I-485, thats belongs to your spouse. You can write a letter to USCIS stating that you're withdrawing the I-130 although opinion differs whether that's enough.

If the divorce is due to irreconceivable difference, etc then sure, give her a chance to start new life. If its due to lies and deception, then do what you got to do.

If all you want is revenge, well, its another story.
