  • Immi Law Q: Can you travel out the country after applying citizenship ***URGENT***

    Hi,
I have applied for citizenship about month and half ago, I have gone to the fingerprints appointment already and have not heard anything from them yet.
Unfortunately a family member has passed away and I am in need to travel for the funeral.
    My question is:
    1) would this affect the process in any kind of way?

    2) Would this bring any problems at the time of interview with USCIS officer?

    I appreciate your help!

The godless heathens inhabiting this board believe there is nothing after death and therefor no reason to respond to your request. But, others don't share the same lack of faith.

Of course you may travel. The only impact it may have is if the time in country you listed is reduced by this travel. And, the length of stay. Assuming it's going to be less than six months there shouldn't be any problem.
This message brought to you by the vast right wing conspiracy.
