I came to us on b-1/ b-2 visa in jan94 worked and lived in u.s till june 2002.I voluntarily left u.s and got my canadian immigiration.I am married to a u.s citizen.I have applied for i-601 waiver. My file is at st-albans Vermont office. They had requested me a letter in my own words explaining the reason of my over stay.I have mailed them in JULY they updated in the system saying that since the primilinary work has been done it would take less time than it is stated, unfortunately there is no case update for i-601 petition on any website.Kindly advice me the time frame they would take to make a decision. They received the letter on Aug 2nd 2006.
