    Hi I am wondering: Once you have been granted political asylum (as a family reunification), can INS deny AOS and deport you? Also, if they deny your I-485 can you fill out again I-485 and live legally here until you get answer to you case again(about 4-5 years) Thank you

      U.S. citizens have been actually deported (by accident, but it happened), legal permanent residents are being "removed" for minor things such a "farting in public" .... why do you think asylees enjoy any priveleges?

      No, seriously now, anything is possible, talk to a good immigration attorney. Shusterman is good, but he's getting a bit greety, try Siskind instead!!!! (just as good and with a lot of compassion!!)
