  • Do you have to be a citizen to be selected for jury duty

Does anyone know the answer to this question.

If so is it public knowledge where might I get the records to show that someone other than a citizen was selected for jury duty?

Not Federal level jury duty county level.

Just to have been selected would he have had to claim on his Driver's license that he was a citizen?

          Hi Robin,

I've been selected for jury duty twice and each time before I was served, I was sent a questionnaire from the court. I believe there was a question on whether or not I was a citizen. Had I checked 'No', I wouldn't have been summoned for jury duty. So, in all probability, he lied on his questionnaire too. You might try calling the courthouse to see if the records are public information.

Federale by reading his posts lead me to figuring out he lied on mortgage and deed/title form which is Govt. Form.
