  • REAL CAUSE OF ARIZONA TYPE BILLS SUDDENLY BEING ENACTED IN MORE STATES

For very well known to all of us group of gun toting and Bible trumpeting people , anything less than using a sledgehammer to treat a headache is considered grossly liberal and absolutely intolerable way of dealing with the problem.

They viciously threaten to run over anyone who dares to voice an opinion different from their own.
Politicians are so terrified of them that even Jeff Flake, let alone McCain, is flip-flopping and becoming an advocate of 'rock 'em, shock 'em' crowd.

How come such insane crowd mentality is allowed to dictate what State or Federal policy should be on immigration issues is a subject of entirely different discussion.

Here we are to address another question:

Why the host of AZ type of bills got immediate jump start in several States as soon as 9th Cir. ruled in favor of DOJ?

The answer is simple: they want to get sued and take these bills to different jurisdictions and courts, blaming the current outcome among themselves on what they consider extremely liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

They recognize the challenge of arguing at once against appellate court , lower court and DOJ. They probably see the serious risk of SCOTUS either dismissing or ruling against them, thus permanently striking down any further attempts to enact similar laws.

So, instead, the new tactics is to enact laws in what perceived to be less hostile jurisdictions, win it all the way to another Cir. court and then have a clash of two contradicting court of appeals' rulings laid before SCOTUS.
It is indisputably better to go to SCOTUS with more than one Governor against entire federal government, with lower and appellate courts together backing it up.

This is a TRAP for immigrant activists and non-profits, to get all riled up and excited by 9th Circuit ruling and challenge in all courts the similar to AZ bills.
Judging from previous patterns of action , the non-profit groups opposed to AZ style legislation lack the strategic vision or, to use a better word, generals capable of seeing the entire battlefield, with location of troops, resources and geographically favorable or hostile environment, and will most likely charge into attack , only to be slaughtered by gleefully awaiting troops of the opponents.

The best course of action would be to not challenge any of the newly enacted bills, instead force the Brewer administration to take what they have to SCOTUS and have SCOTUS strike it down , with inevitable effect of all the rest falling down like the house built of a deck of cards.

What will happen exactly remains to be seen. What is clear though is that the timing of the bills coincides with 9 Cir. ruling and thus inevitable conclusion about the actual purpose behind it.

    All the best.

The stove is more appropriate. Reminiscent of the stove and kettle expression from wanting beyond strict enforcement of wished for laws against a group who are asking that existing laws be enforced against the former who do all they can to avoid abiding by any laws. Red since it's such over the top and exaggerated anger that it borders clown like credibility.

That comparison is fitting to those who wish to violate the sovereign laws of a nation and to those who support them. Perfect I'd say in that Hitler invaded neighboring countries and concocted all sorts of idiotic justification for doing so.

In addition, hypocritically I might add, they also want to use the rule of law to suppress those being violated from protecting themselves.
