    This is a labor certification case.Interviewed on Dec. 7th. 2007 in Stewart Ave. Long Island.Interview was cleared.The only problem was the Nsser registration.Which, I explained that,I could not do it and gave them proof of my illness in that period.The officer said, She will complete the interview and wrote the date, her name and I 485 pending on the passport.She told me, she will email NYC to clear the matter That If I need to register or they can waive on medical grounds.I am still waiting to hear from them and dont know what to do and who to contact?

      what is the nsser registration?

        It is a special registration program for residents of certain countries mostly muslims. Only US citizens and greencard holders were exempted from this program.As of my knowlededge
        this program is no longer in effect, but now being implemented at the ports of entry only.

          You can still complete your NSEERS registration. People are permitted to register late. You need to find a lawyer who is familiar with the process in your locale to either accompany you or tell you who to contact.

          It is usually the local ICE investigations unit that handles NSEERS late registration.

            Do I have to wait for Uscis or just go ahead and do it.
