  • employment from abroad with expired OPT

Would be a part time employment for a U. S. company from abroad (doing a computer support related job from overseas) considered a unauthorized work if my salary will be deposited in a U.S. bank and my name will be in the company payroll but my OPT is expired. The company lawyer said is O.K. because employment authorization is only for persons who are in the U.S. Would be then problems getting H1 visa to come back to the U.S?

Thank you in advance for suggestions!

1-You are here on H-1 visa, employed by the US
        Company to work for them.
2- Your company had a contract with some overseas
company, and they have transfered you to the
        overseas position.
3- your Salary is deposited in the US.
4- It is OK to work out side of US forthe same comapny, YOU SHOULD ENTER THE COUNRTY BEFORE YOUR WORK AUTHORIZATION RUNS OUT.
HOW long you have been in the US on H-1?

        silviamka is right.
