Simple truth: there is a problem with economics. A lot of Americans struggle.
Anti-immigrant activists use immigrants as a scapegoat, a lightning rod to avert attention from real problems faced by this country.
This is old as the world maneuver.
As to E-Verify, who cares about E-Verify?
It only targets those who use fake documents to get employed. Why use fake social security and work authorization to begin with?

Old story. I bet they will issue a regulation or make the amendment and pass the law in Congress to get all these peoples' LPR applications processed.

I would require my policy making individuals to wear 70 lbs equipment in 120 degrees of desert heat and do some battle on the field and smell the gunpowder before writing those regulations.
Like they used to do in Rome. Serve as a soldier and field commander, prove your worth and earn respect of your men in trying times before you come back and serve as a Senator.

If these individuals are indeed terrorists why let them live here for even a single day let alone many years?
If these individuals are allies and not terrorists then why make them resentful for no reason?

Some of the policies that get stuck until overturned are written by effeminate and insecure men with corporate reading glasses who pay to get whipped on weekends and come back on Monday to show their 'manliness' by making such irrational rulings.
