Adjustment of status after overstayed visa

Looking for advise in that situation: old parents come to USA in visitor visa. Son will get US citizenship in 3 years from now. If they overstay visa, will be a possibility to adjust their status in the further, based in the 130 application? What to do ? They do not have any relatives in home country only one son in USA.
Any advise or suggestions will be very appreciate. Thanks!
