Aguila, they usually say 30 days. But, from my own experience, I should not really compte on it. I did put an inquiry and never got an answer. That's like more than a year.

      Peace out.

      Cisse.

        Dear Aguila:

It used to be that USCIS would not respond to those inquiries but I did one myself 2 months ago and I received a response and my case was expedited as well.

Good luck and do not give up.

          Aguila,
          Good day.
I called the 800 on Aug 2nd around 6PM as I didn't receive a confirmation on the change of address after 30 days, the lady said all she can do is to put a note on my file and I need to check again if I don't receive it within 30 days.

I received it next day the 3rd! That was fast, wasn't it?

            INStress:

I believe you got that response on the 3rd because of your original inquiry and your phonecall on the 2nd had nothing to do with it.

              About 30 days.

My friend went on a week-long trip when the 30 days' time was up. On his return, he found a shower of welcome letters(duplications) in his PO BOX.

              Good Luck!
