      Since you now have a SSN, your ITIN is now invalid for filing tax returns. When you file, the IRS will cross reference your SSN with the ITIN. All you need to do is file your tax retrun using your correct SSN.

          On the letter that has your ITIN on it, it tells you that once you get a SSN, you should send a photocopy of your SSN card and a photocopy of the letter to the address listed on the letter. That's what we did for my husband's.
