My I-140 was approved 3 years ago under EB1(outstanding researcher) and immediately after the approval I filed I-485 (that was near 2 years ago). I have my interview in about 2 months. My question is when do I start counting the 5 years needed to be eligible for a citizenship - from the date I filed I-485 or from the date they stamp my passport (that would be hopefully in April)?
