  • I751 Question: Pasha Patel & others

I still see May, 2004 NOA approvals for I751 from TSC but havent heard about mine yet (NOA, April 20,2004). Does having your intial AOS in different service center (mine was CSC) and I751 removal in another (TSC) delay the process. This is all I can think of. I am waiting for official USCIS website to show NOA date past mine and then I will file a complaint with my senator's office.

you are fine. The delays are all over. AOS in one place and I-751 in another is Very much fine. If you had some kind of address change that would cause a delay. So heads up and check on the NOA in April.

I had an address change as well after I filed in TSC (still under TSC though) but why will address change cause delay?

          several reasons:
sometimes INS simply does not put the address change
INS personnel delays putting the address change
Maybe your request was lost in the mail
if INS receives your request maybe your documents need to go to another service center since you no longer live in the state the center has juridiction.

The best you can do? KEEP CHECKING ON YOUR STUFF BUDDY. call 800 number call senators and make sure that INS has the latest on you.
          just how it works.

            ck,

I had my AOS approved in NSC and I-751 in TSC. I received I-797C approval letter within 9 months of filing. So, I do not think filing in different service centers would make a delay.

              Hi ck ...

If u have filed I 751 with TSC from very first ...it doesn't matter if your AOS was done at different service center... address change sure can delay the approval coz of so many reasons...

My NOA is dated 04/05/2004 which already has passed but still I m waiting for one more update on USCIS website... as they say if 30 days have passed from your application date then you can contact them to inquire about your case status whats going on....hang in there...u will hear soon from them...good luck...Pasha
