It all depends on the office you apply in and the officer assigned to your case. Most USCIS Immigration Service Officers are notoriously lazy and do not look at the underlying petition for permanent residency when addressing citizenship applications.

However, if you get a skilled and conscientious ISO you could be in very big trouble for the fraudulent LULAC application.

Beware. I would suggest applying in Sacramento, CA USCIS office as they are notoriously lazy and unconcerned about fraud.

        Navid,

I am not familiar in this area of immigration but I would like to help you about posting on this board.

To reply to a thread, whether yours or others, on the bottom right corner of this post for example is a blue tag that says reply.
Click on reply and a new box will open for you to post. This will then go underneath the last post of the thread you want to post in.
For example if you want to answer to Federale's or my post on this one.

If you want to post in relation to someone's post specifically, you can click on the bottom right had side of the box of the said post you want to quote ( a yellow folder icon with quotation marks) and reply that way.

This way it is easier to follow and posts will stay together if it is all related to said thread.

        I hope that helps.

        Take care

As long as you did not lie to USCIS in any form (I-130 and I-485), you are good to go for Naturalization.

In my experience and what you said above, you have two case pending before the USCIS.
First on your entery in 1986, since your entry are you in you US Since the from 1986 to present....?
Second Marriage to US Citizen, what is the date of your marriage.........?
If you have lived in US from 1986 todate in any status with out any criminal records. Then you are good to go for your Citizenship....
I remember in 1978 there was and information sent by the then INS to DOS say that you can accept legal or illegal time spent in US for adjudication of applications of Natrualized Citizen for transmission of Citizenship to their Child boarn abroad at that time it was ten years requirement for transmission of Citizenship to the child boarn abroad.
Your case is straight forward you should be able to get your Citizenship, provided the Officer knows the Law...It should be in INA if any one had that old books and transmittle letters they can confirm...
                            Wish you all, the best...
