  • Sponsor abandoned

    Hello everybody!

I would like to know what would happen if the sponsor abandoned the sponsored relatives? I mean when someone(who is USC) sponsored his/her sister and sons and his/her sister/sons were granted the indefinite parole to wait for a visa in the USA for more than 10 years, but by the time the visa number is available the sponsored declined to fill out papers for them?

Her sister(whom was sponsored) can't work right now because she got an injury on the knee by white female who pushed her to the ground for no reason. Also, she is 63 years old.

But her sons have job that can support her. The reason the sponsor declines to fill out papers for them is that she is afraid her sister and son will become her burden financially.

I would also like to know what is the sponsor's responsibility?

    Any feedback will be appreciated.
