I’d like to share with you some of the reasons why I chose Malik Papishas as my immigration attorney.

        Reason 1

Malik, or Mali as I call him, is a very compassionate man. He immediately understood my plighht in my native Armenia, and the discrimination I endured being homosexual in that conservative backassward place. I literally collapsed in Mali office upon reciting the bullying I had endured in Armenia.

Mali actually stood behind me rubbing my backside while I wept crocodile tears all over his brand new Wal-Mart Persian rug. Now what other attorney would do that?

I will be posting more reasons in forthcomming posts. E

That accurately describes who OldE. is (not OldE but OldE., the one with the dot ) and explains why YOU are here following up my posts

                      Some more.

The ones over open water are the most difficult. The horizon gets lost but it's so much fun sneaking up on a bonka boat and strafing. They light up so nicely.

How do they fly those jets at such speed given the proximity to the ground or even the sea?

The impulse (light) must hit the nerve in the eye and then it takes time for it to get to the brain, with latter's interpretation further delaying the process of reflection or perception. Then you have to add response time of the same and all that adds up to quite a bit at those speeds.

In ordinary circumstances we don't notice it. But , at several hundred kilometers per hour (still sub-sound) you are actually past the point which still registers in your brain as being like 200 or so meters away. That's why auto-pilot is normally engaged.

How could they possibly react with accuracy when maneuvering at those speeds? I don't think you can make auto-pilot do those things, so it must be manually operated. How then do they reconcile the biological limitations of perception with flying such acrobatic performances ?

It is very impressive and looks grand , but how is it possible for a human to fly a jet like that ?

There are limitations that can be dialed into an aircraft. For example. You can 'program' it to disallow an altitude below a certain threshold. This would be governed by the altimeter and of course the pilot's input.

Those do have limits due to weather and wind patterns. It doesn't take a lot to knock you around a few yards so doing stunts like these requires near pristine calm conditions.

If the limitations allow minimum altitude control while allowing manual control at any height above it, then it's doable.

My take was that some were edited (used two different footages (of aircraft and ground),afterwards combining both), others may have been made possible due to flight speed under 250 mph or 300 mph max. But one over the sea level with the air-fluff generated by breaking the speed of sound didn't seem to be an edited footage. Anyway, with altitude limitations programmed it makes it possible to fly it so.

It's not just turbulence and air flow that makes aircraft difficult to maneuver at those speeds. The main reason is that pilot doesn't see the actual scenery , there as mentioned earlier is an effect of delayed perception at high speeds , what you see hundred or more meters ahead at any given moment is what you have already passed in actual physical space.

Essentially, the faster you go the narrower your visual range. And, the further out your point of focus or direction becomes. This can be demonstrated while driving. Find a narrow road with trees on either side. Drive down the road at increasingly faster rates and the perceived field of view becomes narrower and so does the road. That's due visual limitations. Which also explains why a lot of high speed accidents end up head on collisions on narrow roads. From the drivers perspective, the road becomes narrow and they have a tendency to drive towards the middle to avoid what seems to be a more near road side on the right.

It comes down to skill and ability to maintain a straight line.
