    in a previous post i asked the question which country would be easier to immigrate to? my fiance he is austrailian i am american . we are so confused ..it is beginning to discourage us when i was there we were going to get married i was on a tourist visa immigration said it was ok. but the filing for residency would be 2000. whats the case if he comes here ??

    Are you kidding? This is a no brainer between America or Australia. If you are still sane, move to Australia. Obama and his buddies are on a roll to destroy this country, take away your hard earned money and give it to lazy, fat a.s.s. folks. Be wise.

      For spouces of citizens, there is no difference in the immigration proceedure or ease of immigration between US and Australia. Only depends on where you want to live. And, by the way, now Australia has its own 100% white Obama, e.g. a moronic socialist leader. But, if you want to own a gun, America is still better.

        seasky, this is a long term decision and you should consider other facors (employment, standard of living, opportunities, family...) One country or the other, there will be a cost involved, but I don't think you should base your final decision on how much the cost of the process would be...

          $2000 Australian is less than $2000 US.

          You would wind up paying around the same (in US dollars) for him to immigrate to the US - even more considering you wouldn't be fully done with the immigration process until more than 2 years later.
