  • Conditional GC & Advance Parole

My wife received her conditional green card two months ago. We'd like to travel to her country for a months vacation. I'm not sure if we still need to apply for an advance parole for her to travel outside of the US.

Can someone advice me? Thanks in advance.

I think I found the answer on form I-313. Under the section "Re-entry Permit" I found the following excerpt:

"If you stay outside the United States for less than one year, you are not required to apply for a reentry permit. You may reenter the United States on your Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551)."

I figure that since my wife has a green card already, she only needs a re entry permit and only if she was to stay outside of the U.S. for more than one year.

          Thanks Pasha.

In case somebody else reads my post. I fat fingered the keyboard. I meant to say form I-131 not I-313.
