I would like to hear from American Citizens who got married and filed I-130 at your spouse's Contry Consulate. How long did it take you to get it approved? Thanks.

Hi. I got married overseas, but I don't think we used consualr processing for that part of the process. I am not really sure as our lawyer was still alive at that time and took care of everything for us.

They received our materials on September 4, 2001 and we heard back from them in January 2002.

My husband is Ecuadorian and I am a USC.
