  • Parents Interview

My parents applied for AOS 2 months ago (I filed I-130 in the same time). They have overstayed visa. We got the answer from INS in 10 days, saying that they received the application. Two days ago we received another letter from INS, telling that they have to go for interview next week.
Question: Is this the normal procedure? I was under the impression that fingerprints has to be done first.
Is this the only interview (determining eligibility)?

    Any opinion or experience?
