  • technology to the USA

We are two individuals who have developed a ceramics process that is unique in Australia, and on opinion from a New York State University, unique in the world. We need some assiatance with research to finalise the process and have been asked by the University to locate our technology and persons to New York State into an incubator program. We cannot seem to find any category that allows us to bring both the technology and ouselves to the USA. The Univerasity has not had this situation before as all previous transfers have been academics.

Perhaps it would be better if you can try have your "technology" patent and show to different universities your work.Of course they will say that it is a good work but the details should be scrutinized best when it become open to others.Your patent or license still shoes that it is yours anyway.

There's nothing to lose to try applying for an H1B nonimmigration visa which allows you to LIVE and WORK in the US.

        OR

Since you have a distinctive idea, you may very well be qualified in the first category of employment-based immigration visa (EB1). You can skip the tidious Laber Certification process and get your greencard faster.

Try both of them. I would if I were you.
