  • The "...oid" phenomenon

Tabloid news, from a tabloid source, attracted all tabloid minds in full force.

Tabloid = mongoloid (not racial but medical)

Who said you won? You haven't presented any convincing evidence, just wild theories.

Hah! you said you won. Then let's reinforce it if it's really the case. Or perhaps you mean you won likewise in that distinct mould of Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf.

"In an age of spin, al-Sahaf offers feeling and authenticity. His message is consistent -- unshakeable, in fact, no matter the evidence -- but he commands daily attention by his on-the-spot, invective-rich variations on the theme. His lunatic counterfactual art is more appealing than the banal awfulness of the Reliable Sources. He is a Method actor in a production that will close in a couple of days. He stands superior to truth."

Hmm, iperson, RN compares you to AL-UL-ILL-Sahaff, which means RN thinks yo are a MUZLIM.. Hmm, this pretty much sums up all the possible arguments. If you were not a Muzlim ,iperson, she would probably believe evey nonsense you say including one about bearded man in skies who has nothing else to do but slap or tap you on the head depending on what you do throughout the day.

In my case I disagree with both Larry King and iperson ergo i declare them both Muzlims .

Oh, it totally slipped my mind that al-Sahaf was a Muslim. It was done not about "who" he was but more on "what" he had been known to many. I cited him for his distinct trait of being stupid and for his extreme stupidity to even know that he's exactly that - stupid. And anyone who acts like him can fit into his distinct mold of stupidity, comical stupidity.

Of course he was stupid. Why would anyone make outrageously false claims he made in the face of obvious facts to the contary? What he did was like claiming there is a bearded guy in the skies who will do the fighting for you or thrumpeting manmade Bible or Koran as God's words.

And , oh, btw, Obama is Muzlim. What a coincidence!

Or claiming victory over others in a debate on ilw.com. The analogy is seamlessly perfect.

Just as making a claim while saying others who make the claim are stupid, merely because they too make a claim

The rule of thumb is that don't make baseless or contradictory claims so as not to be called stupid.

How wonderful that you finally realised it after sinning against your self proclaimed "rule of thumb"

Haha! it's wonderful that you could easily make a baseless and contradictory claim and appear stupid.

A little discourse before making a claim as to what really appears stupid.

strawperson is here , and always was, to set up a straw man arguments. That person, i believe, is in the team with you, RN ,and if not in your team then shares much of your position , because all she does is state the sort of nonsense that makes even you sound more reasonable in comparison.

If you could look at it from aside and see how it really appears (you two staging a fake argument , with one claiming nonexistent victory while the other in effect doing exact same by projecting it over an imaginary strawman while mocking one who does same) then you would know better who really appears stupid.

OldE, you know very well that a baseless accusation or a hearsay that's not supported by solid, verifiable evidence can't stand on its own but would rather crumble under its own weight in cross examination. Why make it repeatedly and appear just as repeatedly stupid? I want to believe that you're a little better than that.
