I saw people Illegally crosses the US/MEXICO border and got caught by border patrol agent on the spot are returned to Mexico within hours.

How long those people are Barred to enter US legally? Is it 3/10 or 5 years?

i don't think is that long and how does immigration even know the names of the individuals so why doon't they try doing it the right way anyway. besides entering ellegally is a dead streets later on trust im facing that right now

In most cases the people who are caught are merely escorted back across the border. An average of 1 1/2 to 2 million people cross the US/Mexican border each year by most recent counts, so it would be hard to research the true identity of each detainee. There may be a ban if the capture is documented and the person's identity is established. Do you know the people you saw? Are you trying to help them?
